Are all things in a state of flux?

Heraclitus claimed that one cannot step into the same river twice. I believe another Greek later said that the same river cannot be stepped into once, meaning that the river is constantly in a state of flux and is never the "same" river. Doing a brief web search, I found that Zen Buddhist evidently affirm this notion; so did A.N. Whitehead, it seems.

Absolutely.
Change is inevitable. That is as true now as a couple of thousand years ago when Heraclitus spoke those same 'fluid' thoughts you expressed.
'time and tide wait for no man'

You can step in a river once, but when you to step in it the second time, the river will be different. You will not be stepping into the same water, for the water has already flowed down stream.
Yes. All things are in a state of flux and it take Work to prevent the disorder that will result, but ironically, the deeper you study quantum physics the more order you discover deep within the initial appearance of chaos.
Nothing is truly chaotic, but is in fact quite ordered and only appears chaotic to the unlearned mind.
Yes, everything is in a state of flux. Ever changing, growing, breaking down and deteriorating. Only to be rebuilt into something new. But it is all done in an orderly manner that may just lie beyond our ability to comprehend.

No, one can always step into the same river once. Its twice or more where it becomes impossible. Yes because water is in a constant state of movement.

considering how long earth has been around, the water on it,has proboble been just about everywhere. i bet that every puttle you might step in, your walking in dino pee, lost oceans, and tons of rivers at the same time. If you walk in a river, the water in that river might have easily been there before.

it would have to be more than once to be justified as "the same" since you need a refrence point.

but, for it to be the same it would have to be "the same" and since you had already put your foot in the water for the first time, you could not put your foot in again for the first time so no, it would not be the same.
