I'd give life a 7 right now, purely and simply because its a lot of fun but I'm swamped with obsticles. Once I've come through one, I have to go through the other. There isn't any breathing time! However, were a lot luckier than all those kiddies in Africa who a lot of them don't live for their 5th birthday!
Rate life out of /10 and give a reason???????????

April has been a month from hell for me and my family. I'd have to rate life right this minute at about a 3.
I've lost two loved ones between April 5th and 18th and I recently lost my job due to no fault of my own. The firm is downsizing.
April has pretty much kicked my butt. (sighs).

I'd rate my life a 10. My life is very far from perfect, but I have nothing to truly complain about. I have a few serious health problems, but I have them under control and fortunately am in a position where I'm able to work and pay my medical bills. I am in love with a wonderful man who treats me like a princess; I have a very caring family who would do anything for me; I own my own home and have a stable, good-paying job; and I just feel very lucky to be alive and am thankful for all my blessings. If I focused on the negatives (of which there are plenty), that wouldn't make my life any better. In my opinion, a positive outlook makes everything better :)
Great question, by the way. It really made me think.

Like one of the other answers I would have to say a 10 there are some things in my life that are not so good only 2 years ago next month I was on a life support machine and in a coma for 11 days so I'm lucky to be here, yes I have a few health problems and my Mum is not very well, I have plenty of food my bills are paid and a bit of money and a nice man in my life. Your health is your wealth so in that case I'm a millionaire, lucky me so a 10 for me.

I have never been one to think Im lucky because of someone else's misfortune. I feel bad for the hungry and sick of this world, but it kinda doesnt take away the pain or happiness I feel on a day to day basis. I am living my life, they are living theirs. I am not in their head, nor are they in mine......so, we can compare our lives to the disadvantaged, but does that really take away our personal pain?... The pain a person feels when they lose their love is not lessened by thinking about these poor little African children who lose their lives at an early age. So the pain we feel is very individual and is very serious......to us. My emotional pain would not be considered by a little 3 year old starving to death. What I am trying to say is that I think its wrong to think about other peoples misfortune in an attempt to downplay our our hurt because if you do that, then you will never take your problem seriously and will never be resolved. You will say "Oh well, there are people worse off than me". When you analyse this, there is no-one worse off than me because I am living my pain, they are living theirs. I will get off my soapbox now....lol
Hmmm, I would say I am a 4 today, yesterday I was a 4 too. A week ago I was a 9....the happiest woman in the world. My life isnt going the way I want it to go or as quickly as I want it to proceed. Maybe tomorrow I will be a 7, I dont know. My level of happiness changes from week to week. In my personal circumstances, which I wont get into, my happiness level is based on a situation I have no control over......well, I guess I do have control over it, but I havent got to that point yet because I dont want to feel like a "2". I am kind of just existing at the moment....so lets average it out and say I am a "5"

Pretty much a 7-8, which is brilliant. I've been through countless failed relationships (including a marriage) over the years, and am now marrying my partner of 6 years, who I still love dearly. I'm really looking forward to it.
I've also reached a point in my life where material things really aren't so important. We don't own a house and I doubt we ever will, but I don't really care, we are healthy and happy. I never thought I would hear myself say that!

At this very second it is 5/10. Being rejected for a date isn't much fun & has brought me down :( Like you say though, you always get through things somehow & my problems must be trivial compared to most.
