Seriously, why can't I just not fall asleep when reading serious things like whenever I'm reading Ya&q?

I put in alot of effort trying to stop reading yahoo answers and questions but I always doze off whenever I'm reading assigned scientific articles-----why is this?

It would be more than magnificent if I can enjoy reading everything else as much as I enjoy reading Yahoo A&Q

any tips, suggestions, or explanations anyone?

well different things work for different people, but many people say they cant sleep because their minds are still focused on other things like what happened during the day or whats going to happen in the future. i use 1 of 2 techniques to fall asleep. 1. if i have nowhere to be the next morning i just stay up late and exhaust myself to the point that im out before my head hits the pillow. 2. if i have to be up early i turn out the lights and lay in bed listening to relaxing music until i fall asleep. the song "recycled air" by the postal service is particularly relaxing to me hope that helps.

stimuli like the computer screen or tv will keep your brain too stimulated to sleep. Studies show that people with sleeping problems should turn off the computer and tv at least an hour before bedtime. Doesn't mean I do it, though
