Think of the homeless person on the street or the sorry chap sweeping floors in the basement of Trump Tower.
But seriously, maybe take a shower and try to get a "fresh start" on the day. Kind of like going back to bed and trying to wake up again.
Take your studies to a new place like outside, under a tree or maybe go be around other students? Sounds like you need a change of scenery.
The other thing I do sometimes is tell myself I can have or do something once I am done. Maybe you can bribe yourself by promising a slice of your favorite dessert somewhere. Maybe a big steak would do it for you? Maybe a salad without diet dressing? ---Anyway, you get the idea.

I make studying fun. I usually just get a whole bunch of snacks and turn the music on low, it might be a slower way to study with all the distractions, but it gets the work done or I invite some my friends over that are doing the same thing and have a big study group!

Me too. I have 2 chapters I have to read and study by Weds morning. I would just think about the benfits of getting a good grade. Reward yourself with something fun if you study. Take some breaks during your study session as well.

Do it in small chunks of time. Promise yourself a short break or a treat of some kind after 1/2 hour of uninterrupted study.

I did 6 years in college and I found that the best way to study was to take my materials and go to a restaurant, such as Denny's. I would pick a table in no man's land and go to town. You are there for one purpose and one purpose only, to study, there's really nothing else to do there. It helps to eliminate the distractions that may exist at home. I also found that the coffee is a great motivator.

just an idea from experience. I use to have a lot of those days. what I did and worked was, study for a short period (say 15 - 20 mins). than a nice brake. then another short period for study. this also makes your learning more efficient.

Get a study buddy, or record the information you need to study and then relax and play it back to yourself.

Just think about how if you dont study you wont do good, then you wasted your time in school and threw away your future. Think if you study hard you'll do grand and when schools done youll be wealthy. Have those things you've always wanted.

a good way to boost yourself to study is to think about your future...
...visualize yourself on the street, homeless and begging for money, having to go through bins for your next meal...and having to sleep on the floor of some of your friends homes (the ones which you have left, that is)
...and then think...this could be me in the future if i don't study, and pass my exams to get into a good job.
its a good motivation mechanism, hope it helps :)
