If i go to CSU Northridge and get my undergraduate done there, how well are my chances of getting into Stanford for my masters?
How well would I have to do? What kind of extra things would i have to do to look good?

Going to a better undergraduate school increases your chances of getting into a good graduate school. It is certainly possible for you to get into Stanford with a degree from Northridge -- but it will be harder than if you go to a better school.

For example, in my MBA class at Duke, there were no students who went to CSU schools -- but a number who went to UC schools. There were a few who went to public universities that I would say are comparable to CSU schools (e.g., UNC Wilmington) -- but not very many. Those who did go to schools at that level were perfect candidates in every other way. You will need a very high GPA and high GMAT or GRE scores to get into Stanford. While this is true for everyone -- it is especially true for those going to shools that are not as highly regarded.
