Male guppies can be rather pushy and rowdy, luckily they are so small they don;t have the ability to harm other fish at all. They are also very persistant when it comes to females and mating so what you are most likely seeing is attempts to mate. No need to worry, as long as there are a few females to divide his attention no harm will come of it.

They usually aren't very violent but if you have multiple male guppies and they have very big tails then they may pick at the others tails. I have never known mine to be violent to other females however they will chase them around. I have had guppies all my life and this is what I have observed. I think that you should be fine. Mine have never killed anouther and they are community fish and so you should be more worried about anouther kind of fish eating your guppies if you have any.
