just wondering if this could offset the effectivness of the pill. i know antibiotics and st john's wart can, but i wasn't sure about ibprofen.

No, Ibuprofen is fine to take with birth control pills.

I've been on the pill for 6 years now and I take Ibuprofen for every period I have (I get REALLY bad cramps).

It's never interfered with my birth control though.

No, it won't effect the birth control pills.

no. ibuprofen has no effect on the efficacy of birth control pills.

Not that I am aware of. I have never had any problems, although you should probably check with the packaging or your doctor.
