Does anyone know why The Jackson 5 released the album "2300 Jackson Street" Without Michael?????

Michael had left the band at this point to focus on his solo career. I believe he was trying to distance himself from the group. Plus, I think things were pretty strained between him and his whole family at this point.

Cos he's the only white one with a fake nose? maybe that disqualifies him from being a Jackson anymore.
2300 Jackson street was the last album that the jacksons made, Michael is only part of one song which is the title track of the album. The others (jermaine, randy, tito, jackie) did most of the work here. The reason Michael isn't on it is basically because he left the group to go and concentrate on his solo career.
'Thriller' was released in 1983, '2300...' was released in 1984 so probably Michael felt that he didnt need to slow down his fast rising solo career to go work with the jacksons, I don't really know but I know he wasn't on 2300 because he was too busy furthering his own career.

They released that album after Michael had transformed into Jack-O.
They thought it would be too weird to still include him.
