Just remember that what's past is past and what is future is not guaranteed, so all we have is today (that's why they call it "The Present"). Don't play "remember when" and don't look forward to something that may never happen. Live in the now and enjoy what you have.

I am a male and I don't think he meant it in that way. The way I see it is when you regret your pass you show incomplete, in pain, weak, not in control and those are emotions that do not equate good with being a male. But all depend on the context of the conversation. Also by seeing the statement the fact of dating losers and he accepting that he regrets about it make him a loser. Cause you regret when yo don't take anything good from what is being. And there is always lesson to learn from the past only when there is none is a regret. Other wise no reason to regret about it.

I suffer from PTSD. I was very alone with it for a long time. I met my girlfriend and slowly over the years, have told her and only her allot of what has been haunting me. I'm still very hurt of my past and if I didn't have her in my life, I'd be much worse.

At some point you just have to set it down and walk away make amends if they need to be made and that is possible and move on with your life. Life is to short don't waste you time being misserable or mad.

I have prayed to God and Jesus, asking forgiveness, and leaving it in their very competent hands. What else is there but to move forward. Nothing you can do now can fix those mistakes -- Let go and let God.
