Scam for sure, Most of those are organized crime for South Africa. It is definetly a scam do not deposit anything it will be a false check and/or do not give them your account number if they ask to deposit money in your account. Set your email to view the messages as spam and delete immediatley.

No, there is nothing you can do about it - it is a scam. Keep marking it as spam and your e-mail may start to catch the junk mail and not put it in with your important stuff. Don't respond and only open mail from names your know. This is just an nuisance and the senders will just spam you from another address. Sorry - no great remedy.

Yes DON"T give out any information they will ruin your life, they send you a check for starters then you put in your personal account right after the bank verifies the check they move the money and you end up owing the bank that money, but the kicker is your bank forwards all of your info to them then they start dipping into your account...........................
BIG BIG BIG SCAM!!!!!

Doug, Don't even respond to those scam emails!!! They want your checking account information so they can milk you dry. I don't exactly know how you could stop it since they are international sources. I don't know who controls them. Best thing to do is just to delete them when you see them. Face it, things like winning a lottery even when you haven't played is bogus. All they want is to rip you off.

It's a scam. Just delete the emails without opening. Once they've got your name, that's really about all you can do.
