Well, every generation is an improvement on the one before. So he's the better version of his parents. Either that or a genetic mutation and the parents don't wish to discuss the matter.

He was adopted from Kitchen Orphange. And all the other spoons and forks waved to him good-bye. They couldn't stay for long though.

genetics.. each parent had a recessive gene for squareness thus the probablity for a square child is increased.

i do think that his squareness is in reference to "being a square" hence the super duper naivity and rad tie.
