There is a lot more to candle making than just pouring wax into a container despite what these other posts here say LOL. Take a look at the group here if your interested join the mailing list. Try looking at justscent.com. I have made homemade scented candles for a long time and have enjoyed making them super strong scented for my own use. My advice is to use the single pour wax as a beginner. It's pretty easy and your whole house will smell great when you make a batch!

You can purchase the wax & molds at Michael's. When you melt the wax be sure to use a double boiler so the wax doesn't burn. (One pan w/ water on the stove, the next pan with the wax & place inside the first pan).

The molds come with directions also.

Melt wax, add sent and color, put wick in mold, pour wax in mold, allow to cool, remove from mold, light.

A good crafts store will have everything you need and be able to answer all of your questions.
