I couldn't believe it when I was watching it. All I can say is, I am so lucky to see some of the most amazing Red Sox moments in my lifetime. Especially Papi's game winners and of course the comeback of the century against the Yankees. Add this to the list!

Seasons: Jimmie Foxx, 50, 1938. David Ortiz, 54, 2006. For a career -- there have been 49 players to hit 50+ HR while with the Red Sox. Ted tops the list with his 521, of course. Yaz, 452. Rice, 382. Evans, 379. Ramirez is the active leader with 260 through yesterday. The rest of the top ten, which gets us all the 200+ men: Vaughn, 230; Doerr, 223; Foxx, 222; Ortiz, 213; Petrocelli, 210.

I do. I was sitting there watching it. Playing Tiger Woods '07 on one TV and watching the Sox/Yankees game on the other one. Can't beat that. Also nice to have Manny and Lowell both on my fantasy team....

I watched it and could not believe my eyes. That rookie Yankee pitcher Wright gave them up. I still think them wearing green uniforms on Friday to honor Red Auerbach brought them luck for the weekend and the sweep.

Can you imagine guys like Bob Gibson, Don Drysdale, Sandy Koufax giving up 4 home runs in a row! They would have drilled them in the back before that would have happened!!! It just goes to show you the pitching is weak and deluded as pitchers don't know how to pitch anymore!!!
