No. I give him full credit - wait, sorry, his parents' lack of parenting contributed as well. Without them, he wouldn't have been able to be the villain he turned out to be. And those who rally behind him, claiming that he had no alternative but to end up like that because he was bullied as a child is ludicrous. They forgot that he had not only chosen to be socially withdrawn, but a stalker as well. A stalker that was warned more than once, and yet no one seemed to think he was worth the extra second to double check. The judge, the university president, his family, they are to blame. And because he just happened to be asian, nian3555 and waiching liu are the ones reporting everyone for no reason, report them back and point out that people at Yahoo do not have the right to censor us just cos we don't agree or sympathise with them. Because he was asian, apparently he should have been Mr. Popular and had women fighting over him. Apparently they don't believe that someone who is capable of planning a massacre and carrying it out, and having to audacity to stop in the middle of the killing to mail a documentary to NBC, is unlikeable. Don't you find that strange?

No I think it just revealed a nutter with a gun! Perhaps now the gun laws will be looked at again and perhaps make it a bit more difficult to arm yourself to the hilt and go on a killing spree in the good old U S of A.

No. It revealed the apathy of our culture toward mental illness. It revealed that we truly care very little for each other. It revealed that we have major changes to make in our health care services.

Possibly.
Or we could take it as society becoming to distant with its members and that we must begin to connect with one another and bring back religion into the public sphere.

No. I think it revealed an isolated, very insane person that snapped. There really is no rationale for his actions.
