His overseas diplomacy maybe.
His at home being drunk wont Help.
BUT his overseas relationships YES.
He opened up Russia to the West since 1917.
IE business.

I don't know. But the thing is that, though he may have been an alcohol addict (and most people are addicted to one thing or another), he was a reasonable leader of a peace-loving country. Though Putin is a better president.
