Kubota engine-new fuel filter, fresh gas (it ran few 2 hrs), new plug, air filter blowed out....maybe it needs a new one.....
Spose it's vapor lockage?

Sounds a lot like the problem that I had with my 75 Plymouth Fury. When it was hot outside, and the engine was hot, it would die and not start again until it cooled off. Found out it was vapor locking. The fuel in the fuel line would get too warm and the gasoline would turn directly into a vapor rather than mix with air when it was sprayed into the cylinder. I had to insulate the fuel line where it was in close proximity to the manifold and engine block to keep the fuel line cool enough to prevent it from happening.

I will guess that the engine is Briggs and Stratton. If it is, it may have an automatic type choke. The problem is that it closes even when the engine is warm. I used to remove the air filter and hold the choke open to start it when it was warm. I know that this is not the right thing and I don't know what the fix is. Maybe a repair shop could tell you how to fix it.

Sounds like your lawn mower needs a tune up.New spark plug,a new air filter also try to put new gas in it.If the lawn mower still has that same gas that you kept all winter long while you weren't using that may be the problem.

Sounds like your air filter needs to be cleaned / replaced. I'd also look into an oil change if you haven't done it this season yet either.
