OK Im lost what is a heel or what happens when a wrestler "turns heel" Now would be good for one of those detailed answers ya'll like to give..

a heel is when a wrestler is like the bad guy or hated by the fans, example. edge
a face is the good guy in wrestling, the fans love him/her
ex. undertaker
a tweener is a guy that acts as a heel but people still love him

A heel is a wrestling term use to described a bad guy or a wrestler that is acting like a total prick. well here is all the lingo
heel: Bad Guy
face: Good guy
Turn: In between
Heat: A wrestler that is in alot of trouble backstage
Jobber: A wrestler that loses alot ir is set up to lose (ex. eugene)

Heel: The "bad guy" wrestler or "villain". A heel is booked so that the fans dislike him/her usually to help the face become more popular with the crowd.
Babyface/Face/Baby: A wrestler who is considered to be a "good guy" or crowd favorite. Basically most wrestling storylines and angles are Good vs. Evil.

Heel = bad guy.
Heel turn = then good guy all the sudden betrays the face. Examples of this would be: HHH turning on HBK back in 2002 or turning on Flair in 2005 at home coming. Or when Mickie laid out Trish Stratus after they won their tag team match at the 1st SNME with her own moves.

A heel is the "bad" guy that the fans always boo. A Face is the "good" guy that the fans always cheer. And when we mean a face turns heel it means that the fans turn against a "good" guy and start to boo him or her because of their actions or if they "cheat" to win during a match. So they turn into a "bad" guy because of the fans.

a heel refers to a "bad guy" wrestler and when a wrestler turns heel it means that he has done something terrible to irritate the fans and make them boo him. the wwe makes their wrestlers do that to keep them fresh in the fans' mind.
