The matter here is still in investigative stage & it will not be right to make any statement now on this matter until a proper charge sheet is prepared & filled in the court. Any news that comes to you through press or media cannot be said to be authentic as they are neither the investigating nor adjudicating officers. What he did, whom he took wrongfully out of the country, where are those people now, why he was not stopped previously from doing such an act, what the immigration officials in India or other countries were doing when he was if doing such acts previously, whether actually he had 11 passports of different people with him who were not related or known to him, why the airport security showed lapses in allowing him to pass through the security check up post etc are all matter of investigation till now & will take time to be solved by the investigating police department. Wait for the final result then ask your question.

Not only they go out of India but anybody can enter India
on their return from abroad. When there is a exit stamp in the
passport there has to be an entry stamp too. That means one
is smuggled out another enters. These guys or gals can be top terrorists wanted by the authorities in many countries. You can imagine how many Pakistanis may have entered
India and maybe wanted by the Police.

This is another instance of how law is different for different people, especially if it concerns a politician. It is to be seen to be believed how people fall heads over heels to fawn over a politician. With the unbridled power reigned into every elected member of parliament they almost assume the position of a demi-god not to be trifled with if one does not want to come to harm, especially those working in the government-service irrespective of which ministry they belong to. The mutual support they lend to each other allows the MPs to trample upon all those who may displease them irrespective of their job-placement.The Fear-Psychosis that such unlimited power generates, all around turns most if not all, subservient to their nefarious activities which even affects those working in sensitive- postings like police, customs, airport-security, etc.

You are absolutely right in presuming that the police knew everything about his previous misendeavours but preferred to keep quiet, maybe due to the above reasons. He, getting caught this time happened due to his fall from grace of some other more powerful MP with whom probably, he failed to share the loot on the previous occasion.

With the quality of present day MPs like above, can anyone be surprised if even terrorist gain entry into sensitive-areas with their help.

Don't reach or in fact jump to any conclusions or assume that law and order condition of our country is worst etc. only on the basis of media reports.
Believe me, if you follow any such hot media report to its logical conclusion, you will find that more than 80% hype was erroneous and without any reasonable basis.
