I do sometimes, what for , work and yes I'm usually too kna****ed for anything when I've finished.

Sad I know but Ive driven for 12 hrs from north west Germany to the Midalnds, over night on a friggin ferry, so really I was only driving for 10hrs....

depends on whats at the other end, doesnt it? but then, thats a joyful thing about England, coast to coast is a leisurly afternoon day trip... and if were doing the long one, ats still only 650 miles.... my brother was a lorry driver, h'd clock up 7-800 miles a day an not consider it excessive...
and we can drive all night at 80, and not get nicked...

As in the Roy Orbison song - yes a guy drove all night to get to me a few years ago. Wildly romantic, but fizzled out after a few months. Great at the time though.....

yep,alot...I have driven out of state (9 hour drive)to get to my Mom's house when she was hospitalized,3 times in the past 3 years,
..plus driven from Mo. to Kentucky (10 hours)to pick up my Nieces from an abusive father..
...and most recently drove 10 hours from Mo. to Minnesota when ex my Father in law had heart surgery..
All were driven at night...not my fav. time to drive but necessary>=)
Its also funny how adrenaline can keep ya going when stressed..

I like to drive all night. I've done it for as little as dinner at a favorite place, which just happened to be 11 hours away.
