I just wanted to say thank you for all your answers to my math questions. Every answer has been helpful, with multiple ones giving me different perspectives on the problems that I encounter, like why 1 square yard is 9 square feet.
Thanks again.

You're welcome. You see now that homework questions and classroom work is helped by different approaches to a problem. Later you will find this in any line of work. Seeing them appear here will help you develop your own skills in backing off a problem and finding new approaches. So, then, maybe in a comment you can tell US why 1 square yard = 9 square feet?
