It's quite simple really, to be a 'true' Christian all you need to believe is that Jesus was and still is is God, he is also the Son of God and is also the Holy ghost!
Now that's easy enough isn't it?
But on top of that are your asking if Christians also need to believe that Jesus was also human?
How about this then, let us assume that there are billions of planets in the universe ( that's not really hard to believe is it)?
Now let us also assume that just one of these planets is inhabited by 'intelligent' life forms and at least as old as ours, say mars! They didn't have a visit from 'God' they in fact think that all religion is BS! But carrying on with assumptions if they did have a character similar to the Christian Jesus would he have been a Martian?
No I am not a Martian, just an atheist, but I some times think that I must be from another planet!!!

Yes. Jesus was human.
Christian views of Jesus consist of the teachings and beliefs held by Christian groups about Jesus, including his divinity, humanity, and earthly life. Christians predominantly profess that Jesus is both a fully divine and fully human person, and thus Christian views of Jesus include theological doctrines as well as historical claims.

Jesus was the physical embodiment of God's power. Jesus was God's son. He was merely taking on a human form to relate better to the minds of humans.

Why are people always being racist. Just because Jesus is a latino that doesn't make him any less of a human. Geesh!
Seriously, Jesus (the Christ) was just human until the Nicean counsil decided he was divine AND human a fews hundred years after he died.

He was 100% human and 100% GOD. He had a mortal body and a Divine Soul. unlike our human souls (which are precious non-the-less) His was the Holy Spirit.
thus His human nature came from His mother and His Divine nature from His Father.

Yes, and so was his wife Mary Magdalene, mom and dad Joe and Mary, and his children. Nothing more than a human being who struck a chord with people, and then a whole bunch of others took advantage of that to figure out a way to control others for their benefit. Oldest story in the book.

He is just as human as you and me, and as human as the richest king and the filthy beggar down the street.
People make him into a god, and that's just plain wrong. A human being cannot become a god.
