I think it is a great idea. Imagine the heartache involved. Finding someone like yourself who can understand your needs, your limitations as well as your powers. Maybe the question is whether vampires can actually have true love after death. If so, can they love mortals without having to suck their blood? Or since they have to have blood, they have to go out and establish these other relationships to get it but only find true love with their own kind. Talk about living a double life or is that a better known as living a double death? And what about true eternal love that comes from their eternal death? I think there could be several psychological avenues to consider. Write me if you want to talk it out some more.

This question is a little bit hard to answer. The only one that can answer your question is you. Do you feel its a good story? Do you enjoy reading and writing it?

But here is some guidelines that can help you on your way:

*Is this story "fresh" or has it been done before? If it has been done before try to find a new angle or twist that hasnt. If you cant dont use the story.

*Are the main caracter/s active or passive? If theyre passive its probebly not a good story.

*Are you using a theme that is "hot" today? Hot topics is love and hate (as always), war and envoiromental questions for examples. If you cant at least tuch a hot topic of today it isnt problably a good selling story.

So what does that means to your story? Wampires, No. Wampires in love, nja... maybe not. An ordinary man/girl meats a wampire and fell in love with him/her knowing what will be the ultimate end but accepting it for the matter of love and is letting all of his or hers friends down the throat on the way? Maybe... Yes. A wampire that starts a enviromental group to save his or hers home? Maybe... Johan.

I absolutely love that idea. I love vampires but there aren't very many vampire stories that I much like. Anne Rice definitely doesn't appeal to me. I would so much like to read a love story between a pair of vampires that can be done in a romantic/tragic way.

I'd like something along the lines of Underworld/Van Helsing. Mix those two genre's together and I think you have a winner. Just don't worry about being original. There is nothing new under the sun.

So, yes, I'd definitely give it a go.

It sounds interesting but not something I'd read. Vampires are becoming a bore, but if you enjoy that topic, study up on any other written vampire books or movies and stay away from what ever has already been done. Create an entire new species of vampires that has not yet been introduced because this way your work would be more original and even I'd read it.

A year ago I had an Idea for that exact topic, but never wrote it. My sis was 16, and I told her the story from start to finish. She loved it and made me tell her again. She begged me to write it because she liked it so much, and she hates to read.

I believe that if you yourself find an interest in the topic, someone else will. Also, that sort of topic is big for teens and young adults.

Oooh, Vampire romance! Go here: http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/elfwood.pike It's mostly sci-fi and fantasy and vampires count as fantasy! It's a great place to post your stories for peer critiques.

When you write your questions in the form of declarative sentences you might want to work on that before you develop a plot.

the whole vampire lore thing has been a bit overdone; romance in and of itself is always in season :-), human condition being what it is. Aren't we always looking for love in some form?

if it is a good story people will read it even if they don't like stories about vampires. you have to make the story believable
