We just planted eight 5 gallon Abelia last month. They're flowering now. Do I cut them back after they've flowered?

After it's growing season. That's a basic rule of thumb to remember . As for how much, another rule of thumb is 1/3 removal

They will flower into late Fall. If they are looking scraggly it will do no harm to "neaten them up" by pruning.
