It amazes me reading about the relation of numbers and mathematics, with Music, Dancing, the the Parthenon, Pyramids, Universe and Nature.
Mathematics and numbers have their own philosophy, their own life. It is kind of magic.

I can only date women whose height, in inches, is an even number, because I believe odd numbers indicate they've got the clap.
I'm also obsessed with inventing a shortcut for counting to infinity. I'm working on a system that reduces the time by 100 trillion, it goes like this:
100 trillion
200 trillion
300 trillion
400 trillion
.........
.........
27800 trillion
27900 trillion
See how much faster it is?

I used to be obsessive about the number four. I did everything in groups of four. For example, if I banged my knee into my desk when I sat down, I would do it three more times.
I would try to drink milk in four gulps. When I took a test and I finished, I would set my pencil down. However, I couldn't get up until I picked up and dropped my pencil three more times.
I was obsessive/compulsive back before it was cool. I was an underground compulsive. I was. I was. I was.

I have taught music for so long that timing/counting is all around me always
Also, working in a bank for 19yrs , need I say more.............
On a different level though, as I'm getting older, the numbers of my existence are becoming much louder in my head. Each month and year, each number so to speak is making me think about my mortality.
Next year my age goes backwards. lol

When I have money I count it constanly. I check the time every three seconds on the dot. I also have to eat in an even number of bites. the same number has to be chewed on each side of my mouth too.

It's so bad...I actually had to see a doctor about it. I'll spare you the headache...but there is little I do that does not revolve around numbers--as in counting, not numerology.
Odd = bad
Even = good
Number 3 = luck, fortune, happiness
Number 4 = safety, security, control

I have to add every big number I see and reduce it to one digit.
i.e. I have 44,624 points so: 4+4+6+2+4=20. 2+0=2
I do that all the time.

I always write in the amount of something I purchased with my debit card in my checkbook right away, either before I leave the counter, or when I get in the car.

I love doing straight-forward "simple" math. Anything above that (like algebra) makes me crazy. (is that the same as obsessed...lol?)
