But liberals who talk the end of the world due to global warming are not labeled nut jobs. Example Cheryl Crow says we should use one square of TP a day to wipe with, to end global warming. She is not joking. She is nuts. If any of you want to make a connection to toilet paper and global warming go ahead. Any of you libbies want to save the world by not wiping your butts go ahead, then we can smell you coming.

If you are godless, it doesn't take much to dismiss Christian concerns as being "nuts". As for the liberals, they have substantiated "proof", even if it is created with a political agenda behind it.

As for Ms. Crow, has she figured out in her plan how to enforce the "one square" rule? Toilet Police?

While I have to separate myself from Cheryl on this one I will say that we are polluting our environment and we are causing stress on the earth and the atmosphere.
As far as toilet paper linked to global warming, well tp is made of paper, which is a product that is made by trees and when we cut down trees we decrease the ability to recycle the air we breath and the build up of Carbon Monoxide in the atmosphere...so technically it can be linked.
As for the end of the world, I don't see how anyone (liberal or conservative) can look at how we are polluting the earth and say that it will never be uninhabitable even if we continue to abuse it the way we do.

I don't think anyone is debating you on whether or not Sheryl Crow is a nut. I think she is stupid and she thinks she is smart because people like her music.

To answer your original question, liberals listen to scientists. Christians listen to stories. How many times has some christian nut job written a book saying this war or that war is a sure sign of the end of the world? Plus, look at some of the stories in the bible. A man builds an ark for him and his family and two of every kind of animal and then the world floods and the waters recede and he repopulates the whole planet. That just sounds foolish. Scientists say if we don't stop polluting the planet it could have disastrous effects. Ever drive on I-5 near LA and see the smog? Ever seen what happens to a human being when shut themselves in the garage with the car running? They die!

The funny thing is I don't say anyone is crazy to talk about the end of the world. I know a couple of million people who feel the same way. So I'm thinking the people that call a person crazy for talking about the end of the world are of a specific category.

Obviously the end of this world is coming. The only crazy ones are the ones that are unprepared.

Because there's no psuedo-scientific evidence for the Rapture?

Maybe apocalyptic thinking is just part of human nature. Every religion makes some prediction about the end of the world - if not when it'll happen, at least what it'll be like. And, science has given us many doomsday scenarios: an impending ice age, global warming, asteroid impact, overpopulation, pandemics, magnetic field inversion, and, of course, nuclear winter.

Liberals making statements like that *are* considered nuts. At least, I consider them nuts. However, this fact is not at all interesting and in no way affects the validity of anthropogenic global warming theory.

Christians base there thoughts of the end of the world on writtings from the 1830's (The Rapture), Not even on my truckin buddy Christ's book (New Testament). That is why they are labeled not a nut but off there rocker.

I think you're exaggerating just a tad here. Christians have been saying the end of the world is near for hundreds of years and nobody's really said much about it. In fact, the end of the world is talked about in thousands and thousands of churches throughout the U.S. They're not the martyrs you're trying to make them out to be.
