Why do people put their noses in what I do behind the closed doors of my bedroom???

If I kiss a guy in public, why is that different than me kissing a woman in public?

I want to hear from the people who think being gay is WRONG and think I should "clean out my closet".

You have a right to do what you want in public. My best friend as well as my brother are gay and it doesn't bother me in the least if they show PDA's. It is no body's business. If a straight person shows love in public, it is considered okay most of the time, but you let a gay person kiss their partner and people think it's the Apocalypse. Go figure....

Uhm I'm gay and I don't like seeing men or women kiss in public. I think it's bad manners.

It's obvious when people are together, they don't have to rub our noses in it.

It's no different no matter what the sex, I think it's bad manners all around.

For the rest, I doubt that many people care.

Be prepared for "because the Bible says it's wrong" type of responses from people who really mean that they're simply not used to seeing it and it makes them uncomfortable. Then there's the austere, Puritanical element still present in our culture that clings to the notion that any form of sexual activity that does not lead directly to making babies must be a sin. Or the even more extreme viewpoint that anything that gives pleasure must be a sin. And, of course, there are those who are simply envious of anyone who has someone to cuddle with who they truly want to be with.

I hate to say it but many time gays bring on homophobia.
I hate to have to say this about my own people, but gay people actions can cause straights to fear and come to hate us, as fear often leads to hate. What I’m talking about is when gays try to pick-up on straights, or just stare at them in public places. Many of my straight friends tell me this is the only thing they have against gays.

I have personally witnessed these behaviors myself: A couple of my straight friends were sitting in my living room. A gay friend of mine was trying to come-on to them; they finally had to leave in disgust. They told me that—being young and handsome guys—that this has happened a lot.

What I am saying is that I think a lot of gays need to confront this issue. I hear little about this in the gay media; it’s always about “what straight people are doing to us”.

Because people are stupid, and still think that their religious beliefs should be applied on everyone. Because people have double standards: They're so OK with 2 women kissing on TV, and when two men do it, they rage. Because people lack education which lead to ignorance and discrimination against us.

people don't like what isn't socially normal. It sucks, but it's surprisingly how many people don't know that homosexuality has been around forever. Spartans had male lovers and were actually encouraged to pair up with boys because they believed you would fight harder for your lover than your friend. That was a social norm for them.
