So, my dad has to take me to camp. We get lost. I say just go to that gas station and ask them for directions. My dad objects and gets mad at me for even SUGGESTING the idea. Same thing with my uncle, my bf, and my boy friends (FRIENDS THAT ARE GUYS). Why do you think that they hate asking for directions?

Melinda, baby. You don't really think you'll get an honest answer... do you? It's been repeated 1000-times... had Moses been a woman... they wouldn't have been lost in that desert 40 years.
Then there's the case of Douglas "Wrong Way" Corrigan who, July 16, 1938, was suppose to fly from New York to Los Angeles... instead took off east and 28-hours later landed in Dublin, Ireland.
Of course he had an excuse, not many places to land out there in the Atlantic Ocean. Plus, he said he had compass trouble. Right!!!!

I'm actually the exact opposite. If I have a map and compass, I can find a needle in a haystack. Without that, I'm hopeless and have no problem admitting it. Any road trips with my girlfriend or best friend (who's a woman) I openly say before we leave, you're in charge. Don't tell me where we're going. Just give me turn by turn directions. I have no clue where I am most of the time and get lost very easily. I'm the driver, you're the navigator. We're a team.

I have NO idea. But THEY ALL do it. And yea it always starts an argument when you want to stop for directions!!!!! I think it has to do with the whole "I'm a man and I know what I'm doing I can take care of you, Me Tarzan, You Jane. 'syndrome. Which can be sweet! But it gets to a point where it is utterly RIDICULOUS! and you definately shouldn't have to fight over something so lame!!

Asking for directions would be like playing a new video game, getting stuck for a few seconds, and immediately running for the computer to search for walkthroughs and cheat codes. We don't need others to babysit us through situations. We will find the way ourselves! It may just take a lil longer.

Actually, it's because we're lazy. We're already comfortable in the seat and don't really want to get up. We'll drive another 2 hours out of the way to find a road we know just so we don't have to get up.

'clarification for the stereotype that proclaims we would desire to remedy our own problems. Me, I reckon it incredibly is stupid. i take advantage of all my components in attempting to remedy a project, which include human beings's advice. BTW, WOAH. i presumed the full "in no way ask for instructions" element replaced right into a stereotype/shaggy dog tale. did not think of it incredibly occurred.

men are hunters at heart. you tell us, take me here. well that translates to, get us food. you can not be expected to ask anyone where the deer or other game is, they would lie so they could get it themselves. we dont ask because we want to be the hero for you, you silly, silly woman.
