It will be a waste of money. You can try switching to a higher octane fuel if you wish. It's cheaper and you will get slightly more power and slightly better fuel economy.

It is plenty safe. nothing will be harmed by the added octane level... It is most likely a waste of money and could actually reduce your machines performance ... Higher octane fuels typically have slower burn rates...and hamper performance on engines that don't need the added octane for detonation resistance...Try it an see... premium fuel is only like 30 cents more per gallon than regular... Don't waste the cash on the booster additives though... You would get a better performance gain by drinking a Red Bull and pedaling with your feet...

If it's 100cc, then it isn't a moped. I would guess that it's a scooter.
There won't be a big difference on speed and fuel consumption. Octane boost might help if your engine pinged under load. If the engine is fine under load, then the octane boost is a waste of money.

You need to advance the ignition to take advantage of higher octane fuel. This can either be done automatically by a knock sensor or by fitting an ignition advance module.
You don't have a knock sensor and if they did happen to make an ignition advancer for your scoot the difference would be so small it wouldn't be noticable. So any increase in octane rating is pointless.

The only reason why you might consider using an octane booster is to reduce the effects of carb-icing. A problem on some air-cooled engines in damp/cold conditions.

Don't do it. There's a possibility that it could cause your motor to blow up. It's not street legal usually, and it's illegal just for that reason, it can make an engine blow up. Octance booster is made for cars with big engines, sports cars/muscle cars. Ricers, econo cars, family sedans, motor cycles, and especially mopeds should NEVER use this. It can also damage any exhaust system that your moped may have. Be careful. Using it will not provide any noticable performance. It's not worth your money since your engine can't really utilize it.

For a moped, I don't recommend using it. It's not gonna make much of a difference at all on a 100cc.
Now, for your money, just buy the 92 octaine gas instead of paying $2-8 for the octaine booster that won't help you much at all.

It's probably safe but i don't know if its worthwhile in your moped. As i understand it, on most vehicles the difference is measureable only in small percentages. I do believe that it also keeps your engine running cleaner too. The one drawback that i have been advised of though, is that it causes the engine to run at a significantly higher temperature which could cause other problems.

octane does not effect milleage, only stops engines from pinging or knocking which is due to a flash point in the gas, most of your high compression engines or sports cars need this type of gas or " high octane "
quoted from consumer reports, " It won't make your car perform better, go faster, get better mileage or run cleaner. "
