How would you expect to get the job done, if you go around warning everyone?

Exactly. That's why I'd like to have a couple minutes with that Emokid. He's making fun of people who need help. There's nothing funny about his little act.

In "real life" anyone that is talking about doing harm to themselves or others should taken seriously and removed from an environment that would allow them to be able to do so. At least long enough to evaluate the actual problem and begin to bring about some type of resolution.

Here on Y/A on the other hand, I don't believe 99% of what's written so hopefully no one ever really needs help.

The people that joke about suicide or "taking people out" are truly pathetic don't deserve your attention.

No you wouldn't no one would know until like you said the job was done, if you were intent and sincere with it you would figure it all out on your own and you would not let anyone stop you, if you really wanted to do it that bottle of pills that they give you for saying it would probably get the job done real good. Thanks for asking this very important question.

normally the people who are truely suicidal dont tell anybody. they just up and do it one day without any warnings at all. sometimes a person might say something because they feel like that is the only solution they have, and really they just want help. other then that, there are people who just want attention, and those people suck.

It is a crying out for attention....it is like a warning:
WARNING I NEED HELP HERE...when one is truly suicidal they don't say a word and it is usually just before they do it that they seem to be just fine, happy go lucky, not a care in the world and that is because they found their solution to their quandry -- suicide.

The type of person who goes around telling people they want to kill themselves aren't really suicidal. They are severely depressed and just want the emotional attention they receive when they dole out a shocker like I want to kill myself. Then after a handful of people baby them they feel better.

A true suicidal person does not tell anyone. They just do it.

Some one who threatens Suicide is either trying to manipulate someone else by fear or are reaching out for help.

If someone tells you they are going to commit suicide..they want the attention... My sister tried that once..I helped her take the pills she was going to use..she never tried or mentioned suicide again..(oh and she vomited the pills she swallowed)

the ones who tell are the ones that dont get it done (most of the time). They want the attention.
