As much as it sucks that you are not feeling well- keep in mind Nature will take it's course. Whether or not you have a stuffy nose or a runny bottom. And, when you need to push- you will find the strength. Rest and drink plenty of water. Babies have their own timetable. Best of luck.

OK..first off I'm really sorry you are feeling so poorly, but not to worry. If you happen to go into labor there are ample people at the hospital that will help you through both labor and the flu. Flu can make your labor a lot more difficult, but trust your Doctors and Nurses. Give them all the information that you have, like when the flu symptoms started and just how bad they are. They will make sure that you and your baby come out of this process healthy and fine....Good Luck!

When you say you are sure it is the flu, I was jsut gonna ask you, I know one of the signs of labor is flu like symptoms. Do you think it could be that at all? Well maybe not, I really have no advise for you. I am really sorry you are miserable and it has to come at the worst times doesn't it. All I can say is try to get as much rest as possible!

My mom said she got sick (flu-like symptoms) with all 3 of us kids right before she went into labor. So maybe, no promises, but maybe you'll be the same way. Good luck!

you will be fine your feel like you got the flu but really its your bodys natural reaction to prepare for the dilivery of your baby, it won't go away until a week or maybe longer after your little one arrives. Just hang in there your just getting started!

i am taking birthing classes and they said some people have symptoms as the flu when they are in labor so i would get to the hospital and get it checked out it might be labor or it might be the flu but some people have that when they are in labor get to the hospital asap

call your OB and find out what meds to take to help the symptoms (like, i took tylenol cold plus when i was preggers) and then just know that your body is made to have babies and whether you're sick or not doesn't change that!!

you'll be fine:) get an epidural and you'll be fine!!
