Karma's funny that way.
Just because you have done "good" now doesn't mean you have always been like that and sometimes even the most evil of people will do something positive for someone else(even if they don't realize they are doing that at the time).

Depends on your belief. Biblically, we're given free will to do whatever we want here on Earth. We're also advised to follow God's laws in order to get along harmoniously. If we would "all" do this, no doubt we would eliminate 99% of the worlds problems. As for freak accidents, being that it's an imperfect world, imperfect things do happen.
The reality though is we're not perfect. We constantly make mistakes and make decisions that are not for the benefit of others, so bad things will continue to happen to good people, and some bad people will reap what they can get.

Just Karma.
Good people has to face bad things, for a mysterious reason that only heaven knows why.
Bad people just stays in illusion of living good moments. The "best" for them yet will come, soon or later.

In a religious sense, look at what happened to Jesus.

But in general, if you lead your own life and do what you want, then you don't have to worry about having bad things happen to you because you can control your situations. **** happens!
No one has a perfect life...no one....Even if it's small or big, everyone experiences something in their life that they don't like. There will be good times and there will be bad times, just be glad you're alive to see them!

That question is hard to answer in a religious context; it sounds unfair.

But for an atheist it has no meaning. Bad things happen by chance or mistaken actions; this can happen to 'good' or 'bad' people.

Because things don't happen for a reason, they just happen as a result of circumstances.

We like to think there is a reason behind everything, but there isn't.

It's just life.

Hahaha the first thing I thought for some reason was the devil and then I read your yahoo account name. That was so weird, It gave me chills. I guess maybe I'm right. My english teacher asked us who did God give control of the world too and most of the students said Jesus and he said according to christianity it's the devil. I know that muslim believe that to and they have prayers for that (when you feel the devil near you or something).

Anyways, that sucks eh? I noticed that too.
