Personally I find liberals to be more phony. They claim that they want to help the poor and save the environment. The only catch is that ordinary people should help the poor and save the environment and not them. All they are good at is telling us how we should help make the world a better place, yet they don't do anything themselves. Remember that story about how a liberal neighborhood protested over having four homes built that was from Habitat for Humanity? So much for their compassion. Or how Al Gore has tons of SUVs and he preaches about saving the environment.

Liberals are dreamers ( I know I am a former lib ) they want to live in the world of what could be it we all worked for the betterment of all. Sadly this is only a dream because the cost is so great. The conservations have two divisions, the religious right and business lobby. The religious right believes the bible rules not only their lives but yours as well. Never mind the business lobby is shipping their jobs overseas and importing illegals to replace their jobs here for slave wages, no benefit's , and no retirement accounts. Sadly both left and right have little or no concerns for the middle class that gets stuck with religious rights demands. If that's not bad we have to pay the bills for the libs dreams and the conservatives business practices

..... Gore has to have bullet-proof SUV's to protect him from the gun nuts in this country and terrorists from outside of it, (come to think of it - inside too)
....and the most telling thing of this question is....notice he thinks only "ordinary" people and not rich people should help the poor......like rich folks dont have any responseablity to anything other than themselves making more profits off the "ordinary" men and women working for them.....
I fnd that CONseveratives are just plain phony - they claim to care about the country when they only care about themselves or not letting people make chioces for themselves that they cant or not allowed by their religion to make.
They dont want goverment to intrude in THEIR lives, but want it to tell others who they can or cant love, who you can/cant have sex with, what choices you can or cant make with your own body even if its your last choice.
They want to drive on the same roads as anyone else, but dont want to pay for fixing them or for anything that makes them less congested but complain because they are. They complain about the price of gas like we all seem to do, but arent outraged by a president that has he & family making billions in the oil biz.
They complain about unions (even if you think they're corrupt) trying to get a living wage,health care or safe working conditions for 1000's of workers, but have no problems watching those jobs go overseas to cheap labor, or watching a bad CEO walk away from a company with millions (sometimes billions!) in "severance" packages, after they run a company into bankruptcy?
they want to put up a fence to keep migrant workers out, but will howl when that head of lettuce's price goes up cause American's working for a living wage replaced them? (if THATS ever possible)
...whats NOT fake about a repugnican?

I think politicians are phony, regardless of political affiliation. I also find rhetorical questions phony.

There is a difference between libs and cons? If they are a polotons they are phony. If they are far right or far left person they are a phony. It is not 100% true but its very close.

Liberals--- Hands down. They don't mind telling conservatives what to do but raise a stink when they are told what to do.
At least conservatives do ALWAYS tell you they are only interested in your well being. Liberals have been doing that for decades.
