Acne sucks! It can leave scars and lower your self esteem. But if you know how to, it can be disguised.
Steps
Wash you face with a gentle cleanser. Don't scrub, wash. Scrubbing will do no good. Use skin toner, and after you've done that, put some moisturiser.
Use a tad of cover stick or foundation. Choose one that is slightly darker than your skin tone over the blemish. Don't use any more than a dab to cover it.
Cover your entire face with liquid cover up.
Use either loose powder or compact powder on it. Just make sure it is a close match to your skin tone.
Tips
Make sure that all your cosmetics are oil-free.
Popping zits can make them worse, and gives them a better chance of scaring, so your best bet is not touch them.
If you have dry skin, using moisturiser will actually help acne.
If you feel you have to pop a pimple, make sure you hands are extremely clean as well as the area you are touching. clean the broken skin immediantly, and if you have it, apply spot treatment.
Warnings
This may vary with skin colours.
Cover up can rub off throughout the day, so carry powder with you.
Don't touch your face too much, or bacteria will get in.

It really depends on your skin type, because there are different regimes for different skin types. however, if you have acne your face is probably a little oily. washing your face is a must, at least twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. you might want to use a toner after washing to restore the ph balance in your skin. if your skin is really oily you can even use witch hazel to help get rid of that problem. probably at least twice a week you are going to want to use a facial scrub or mask to eliminate excess dirt, oil, and dead skin cells from you face. this will stimulate new cell growth and circulation which helps your acne to clear. you might also want to use a topical treatment every other night, either benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, one will work better than the other for you. and make sure you moisture at least once a day, usually before your make up. popping your pimples is probably a bad idea unless you know how to do it the right way, so you might want to see a dermatologist or a licensed esthetician like myself. oh, and make sure your makeup products are oil free and non comodegenic, which means they won't clog your pores. sorry if this was long, but skin care is a task for sure. hope this helps and your skin becomes easy breezy beautiful.

Wash your face daily, even twice a day or more. Do not break opne the pimples to spread the infection. Watch what you eat by not eating greasy foods.
