Yes, my countertop is granite. I really like it a lot too! :-) And yes, I do agree with you on the fact that it gets too cold at times. :-) Say, I was just wondering ..... do you happen to use "granite wipes" on your countertop???? They are REALLY GREAT!!!! They are made by a company called Weiman in case you were interested. They are excellent for sealed granite, Marble, Quartz, and solidsurface countertops. My parents just discovered them recently at the grocery store called, Wegmans! :-)

Personally I would not buy a house with tiles for a counter top. I love solid granite. Tiles mean grout which is hard to clean and keep sanitary around food use, not to mention the staining of the grout. If you want a nice counter top but do not want to spend the money on granite look into something less expensive.
