I care more about being a good person and a good role model for my children and others whose life I touch.

I also care about getting ahead, working hard, and being able to have enough money to send my kids to college, having a nice house, buy the things we want, travel all over the world, and help those in need.

So what's wrong with either or both? Do you have a problem with someone making money? Do you have a problem with people trying to be good?

There are people who can do both. I can't because I never want to be rich so I just concentrate on being as good as I can but don't judge those who can do both. I own a business and I like things just the way they are. I'm going to take a vacation in the UK this year. Can't wait!

I'm conservative and I care more about being a good person. I'm not rich, never have been and don't go out of my way to become rich!! My family and happiness means more to me than money!
Heck, I don't even play power ball like most Liberals/ democrats that I know.. I figure it's a waste of my hard earned money. I don't gamble at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the most part, good people. MANY conservatives are not rich. In fact since education and income are so tightly correlated, rich people are more likely to be more liberal (as liberalism education level are positively correlated) than people with lower incomes.

Myself, being a conservative, care about being as good as I can be, and becoming as financially independent as I can be, so I for one, can be a good person should I ever become rich!
