Yep when I was stationed in Panama I fell for a girl that I was going to marry, found out a time later she was lying to me about so many things. 1.She had a baby, that's not what made me mad it was that she denied it was hers to my face so many times. 2. She was living with a guy that I didn't know about. 3. Most importantly she was a prostitute and I wasn't her only, you know. Luckily I saw it before it was too late. I was smart though, I waited till I knew she wasn't pregnant, don't ask how, and broke up with her. Best thing I ever did because 5 months later I met the woman I would marry and have been for almost 18 years now.

Love is blind and sometimes you ignore a persons weakness and flaws. I fell in love with someone who I thought was an emotionally strong person. He came from a great family and was very educated. But then he lost a job and became very distant and very depressed. I tried to encourage him all that I could, but he kept blocking me out. I thought it was my fault for not doing enough for him. Then I realized that it wasn't me, it was him. He is not the strong person that I thought he was. He is the total opposite. I used to cry over him, now I just feel sorry for him.

Yep! Should've realized those second thoughts were moments of clarity. Once the first metya buzz wears off, the truth is usually what is left behind. Stick with that truth!

Yes, i have....its funny how you can fall in love with one side of a person thinking that, that is all there is to their personality...until one day they show you the other side, and then that side is just so not at all what you want, that you just stop loving them completely and just have this immidiate feeling of missing that person, you now know that you wont ever get to see again....cuz they never really existed in the first place...

Yes. Oddly enough, it was right around that time that I decided to quit being so shallow & start taking the time to really 'get to KNOW' people before drawing a final conclusion as to the 'rightness' of them in my life.

Later Daze! =)

When I was in Middle School, I liked a boy for over a year. He finally liked me, and we started going together, and then I didn't really like him anymore. We were still friends, but we just didn't click!
