It depends on your definition of lying. Many politicians don't lie outright, they just frame the words to fit their own theory.
For example, Bill Clinton's definition of sex
Also the movie made the lawyer not only tell the truth, but he was almost forced to answer! That would cause a lot of problems.
If you can't tell a like, you can just wiggle your way out. However, if you were forced to tell the truth, then OMG.

The religious right would be in for one hell of a shock when they realize how many Republicans only pander to their stupidity for the sake of votes.
We already know most politicians are parasite, we'd just finally have a chance to see how truly parasitic they really are.
