Beyond the Beltway and aside from the political news junkies, I doubt that most Americans give a s*** about the Gonzales "scandal" one way or the other. Ditto Scooter Libby. Ditto Abramoff. Webb Hubble. Susan McDougal... the list goes on. Just part of the ongoing background noise. It's what politicians do... the back and forth sniping and the Gotcha games.

Yes. Taking away time from the Dems who could be writing and passing legislation that would be bad for America, like raising taxes, Universal Health care, minimum wage.
And AG goes out and sets them up perfect, dangled a little meat in the piranha tank and all the "Bush Bad Bots" came a feedin'
I LOVE IT

President Bush has a long proud history of standing by his friends and appointees. Gonzales has committed no crime. He did nothing illegal. The President knows that the democrats are only trying to present an appearance of impropriety in his administration by the steady stream of baseless accusations.

No, This is reminiscent of divulging a CIA operatives credentials if you have anything negative to report about the current administration. Gonzales is another sycophant.

Considering that I haven't had any confidence in George W. Bush's judgement since I read up on his background, nothing he says at all has any credibility.
He can say everything he has on his talking points from his staff. I'll never trust a lier such as him ever again.

The only thing I'm confident in as far as George W. Bush is concerned is that he's screwing up America beyond repair.

Just like he had confidence in Brownie and Rummy just before the axe fell. Bush has proven time and time again that his decisions are very poor. We should not have confidence that anything he decides is in good judgement.

I guess if Clinton fired all of the attorneys and Bush only fired 9...it looks like he has about what...81 left to fire to catch up to Clinton?
Go Bush!

President Bush has consistently exercised poor judgment.
This is but another example of the same.
When presented with evidence which contradicts his opinion, he becomes intransigent.
