Make it sit down and smake a whole carton or until it vomits so much that it swears off smoking for good. Thats what my dad did when I was 10 and it worked, haven't seen my barn owl since, so maybe it was a bad idea, good luck.

Either Give it a patch or take him to smoking succession classes. Show him pictures of people with hairy tongues. That got my owls feathers ruffled

Give nicotine supplements to the rats that your owl eats. He would soon lose the desire to get its fix from smoke, unless he smokes rats, of course.
