As long as I have respect for what I am doing I don't view the opinions and criticizing of others.

Definitely rather be hated for what I am, because if someone loved me for something I am not that is no compliment at all... Their love would not make me feel loved.
However, if someone hated me for what I am, I would still love myself for being that person. In fact, I would probably love myself even more, knowing that I could keep my integrity in the face of opposition.

Hated for what I am - why live a lie? If people don't like something about me, i'm not prepared to change who i am just to be accepted.

I would always be true to what I am. Can't & won't change for anybody. Whether I am hated or loved for being what I am is beyond my control.

Well now this is a tough one to answer. No matter what I would rather be loved. Perhaps being loved for what I am not is as simple as being loved because I am not selfish, meanspirited, a liar etc,etc. Loved for what I am not is my answer.
