God put turtles in their own bowl for a reason. It's delicious. If overcooked it can be a bit tough and chewy, has a taste somewhat reminiscent of chicken, but really, it tastes just like turtle.
I have my own recipe, and no, you can't have it. (mostly because I make it up as I go along, same way I cook just about everything.)

Seriously, it tastes like chicken.
I was a kid and some people we were camping with caught a turtle and made turtle soup. I guess I was about 10. This was also the age I first tried frog's legs, etc. I was fearless then. :)
I would not eat turtle now - no way. :) I am an extremely picky eater. But, I do remember that turtle tastes like chicken.

Never knowingly ate one but i've heard everything strange and new either tastes like fish or chicken. I'd go witht the fish on this one cause they both like to swim.
