By all means I am all for a woman president, but recently saw a commercial of the "Mind of Mencia" show, in which he asked the same question. The answers the women in the survey gave suprised me. So, you feminine yahoo fanatics, let me know why YOU think a woman President would/wouldn't work, and please explain. Thanks!

You know, all surveys can be swayed, you just have to carefully choose the group whom you survey.

I think a woman president would totally work.

Women have a very different way of managing crisis, and their priorities are different. in the situation of 9/11, it seemed that retaliation was the major solution of our president and his advisers. I think a women president would have the priority of finding the actual people responsible, and not have racked up a huge debt on a revenge that seems to be empty. Also I'm think a woman president would have been more interested in negotiating for oil in Iraq rather than trying to enforce democracy on a country totally unprepared for it.

Depends on the woman, and I mean heavily. If there is a case, and this is hypothetical, it may never happen, of a woman's term being spent doing what her husband wants, that could ruin any other woman getting into office. Women in power are hardly different from males in power; there have been greats and there have been the bad apples. I don't understand why the idea is so taboo...

I would imagine most people think that a woman president would be too emotional, easily influenced or manipulated or that she would be out of her legal in the male polticial world. I personally think that a woman president would do this country some good. I dont vote based on gender...I vote based on the information I gather about each candidate. I think people should look beyond a person's sex and into what they believe & stand for.

It amazes me to think that there are some women who actually think like that! Many years ago, when I was in college, I overheard a woman saying that she didn't think that a woman should be president and her two male friends actually disagreeing with her! My guess is that these women were brought up in a very strict, old-fashioned atmosphere. However, what amazes me is the fact that some of these women probably vote! If they don't believe that a woman should be president, what makes them think that women should be allowed to vote?

I see no problem with female presidents or prime ministers as long as they are competent (can`t chose a leader based on gender). Norway had a woman prime minister some years ago, she was very good.
Women presidents or prime ministers have usually fought harder to rise through the ranks and this makes them very dedicated to their work.

Any woman but Hillary! I personally would like to see Condy run in opposition to The Smartest Woman In The World, lol. But the Libs and their willing lapdogs of the elite media have done their damage to Condy.

However, Hillary's mouth is causing the polls to retreat.

Hillary as President would work, Hillary has prior experience and did a good job. And Bill is included in the deal. I heard him say so on Larry King Live.

It just has to be the right woman. I'm a democrat but I don't wat Hillary in office. I just don't trust her to be honest and to have the best interest of our nation always in mind. I'm sure there are plenty of capable women out there, they're just not running for the position yet.

These women are raising sons? that's why, men don't know what it means to be a man...they are very confused. In my opinion, we just need a compassionate, knowledgeable person- man or woman.
