find the midpoint of the segment...

x-coord:
(-1 + -4) / 2 = -5/2

y-coord:
(2 + 6)/2 = 8/2 = 4

The center is

(-5/2, 4)

the coordinates of the center of the circle are the coordinates of the midpoint of the diameter =[ (-1-4)/2, (2+6)/2]
=[ -5/2 ,8/2 ]
=(-5/2 , 4 )

x co ordinate = ((- 1) + (-4)) / 2 = - 5 / 2
y co ordinate = (2 + 6) / 2 = 8 / 2 = 4
Co-ordinates are ((- 5/2), 4)
