If you sell everything you own and buy a Harley, then people will be throwing their belongings at you in praise of how special you are. :o)
When you ride a Harley, you are in the family. There isn't another bike in the world, where people will go to the lengths that Harley riders will go. Let me know, if you have ever seen a person with a tattoo on their chest that says, "YAMAHA" or "HONDA". I think not.
All motorcycles are fun. But nothing compares to a Harley.

How about instead of selling all of your stuff you go to college and get a good paying job. Most people who own a Harley don't live in a trailer and eat day old bread so they can afford their bike. They go to school get good paying jobs, nice houses THEN a Harley.

Why not just save your money for a while and buy one cash?
Put in some overtime or pick up some side work and make some extra bucks.
Have you considered getting a used bike?, there are Evo era bikes in great condition for 10 grand, you should not have to sell anything.
Used Sportsters go for less than 5 grand, thats chump change, Sportys are a great buy.

Becaaaause? As long as you ride, enjoy it and have fun what difference does it make what you ride or what others think??? For the price of a top Harley, I own a Honda AND a Ducati....and since I have nothing to prove to anyone, I laugh all the way to the bank...so you could buy a nice bike for a lot less and still have money left over to do OTHER FUN THINGS.

No, you should GIVE me everything you own and take out a loan for the Harley. That way you will be unencumbered by material possessions and be able to achieve a state of Nirvana with the open road. You will never be happier, and neither will I.
Contact me for my address and let me know how much stuff I should be expecting. Thank you, you are a wonderful person for doing this.

Um No! Unless you have money to travel the country and thats what you want to do! We have a Harley, and the ride is to die for, so is just being an owner, but I wouldn't sell everything just to get one, you shouldn't have to. Oh and the gas mileage on it is awesome!!

If that's what you really want to do then I would....If you have other things that come into play like a family or a job then I wouldn....
Harley's are motocycles...is that going to keep you sheltered at night...can you sleep on the bike, can the bike keep you warm and can it keep you safe...It's up to you and what you truely want and need....
Is it a need or a want....I know I need a house but I want a new car...there's a big difference....

i seriously doubt ur going for the screaming eagle motor....that will set u back on par with a vette almost. compared to the other bikes, sportsters are practically chump change. i dont make gm type bucks, but i went down and got mine.....and no.....i didnt need to sell everything; there's this thing called payments. comes in very handy.

You can make payments. You don't have to pay it off the day you get it.
