I went to Grad School with three big ten graduates (Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State). They all have it in their heads that the Big 10 is the ONLY decent college football division, and the ONLY reason the Big 10 doesn't win it all every year is because the teams in the Big 10 beat the crap out of each other, which allows other divisions to win it all.

Personally, i think it's a load. The Big 10 is occassionally a tough division, but the SEC plays WAY tougher football than the Midwesterners do . . . LSU and Florida are both tougher than Michigan, OSU, or anyone

Oh man I LOVED watching UF stomp on Ohio State's overrated team. The icing on the cake will be when Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith goes undrafted after Florida exposed him as the most overrated quarterback in college football during the BCS Championship. Don't worry, with Tim Tebow at the reins, the championships will keep coming.

It is really really really annoying how amazingly arrogant and ignorant some of these morons are, Joe D. If you read anything that he freakin wrote you see that Kentucky BEAT Indiana most of the games. The point he was making is that the SEC "Big Boys" lose to the Big 10 "Big Boys" more often. So pay attention you inbred piece of horse ****... LEARN TO READ

Why is it that these SEC fans always argue AGAINST facts? Is it so hard to look at facts, numbers, and stats and see that its the way it is. Yet they insist on arguing and saying that facts dont mean anything. Its just annoying as hell and damn aggravating.

Texas has 1 or 2 good years in last decade and they have the :ba**s" to dis another school.LMAO..

You can even beat A & M....let alone a true powerhouse.

We got beat by a pretty good team dude...but at least we were there. What bowl did you go to??

Are they though?Let's try a bit of research:

2006 and bowls: Big Ten was 3-1; Michigan over Vanderbilt, Wisconsin over Arkansas, Penn State over Tenn Florida over Ohio State.

2005: Big Ten was 2-1 Indiana over Kentucky, Wisconsin over Auburn, Florida over Iowa

2004: Big Ten 2-2 Kentucky over Indiana, Iowa over LSU, Minnesota over Alabama, Georgia over Wisconsin.

2003: Big Ten 1-3 Kentucky over Indiana, Iowa over Florida, Georgia over Purdue, Auburn over Wisconsin.

2002: Big Ten 1-2 Kentucky over Indiana, Minnesota over Arkansas, Auburn over Penn State,

2001: Big Ten 1-0 Indiana over Kentucky,

2000: Big Ten 0-1 Kentucky over Indiana.

That's 10-10 since 2000. Hardly the stuff of kicking the hell out of, especially when you consider four wins were over Indiana. Kick out the UK/IU games and the UM/Vandy game (the regular season games), the Big Ten was 7-6 in bowl games.

Stats out of http://cfbdatawarehouse.com

Hey Joe D, you need to actually "read" the reseach. Kentucky (a bottom feeder) beat Indiana (a bottom feeder) 4 times out of six. Toss out the M/Vandy game and you see this:

Iowa with wins over LSU and Florida, loss to Florida.

Wisconsin with wins over Arkansas and Auburn, losses to Auburn and Georgia.

Minnesota with wins over Arkansas and Alabama

Penn State with a win over Tennessee and a loss to Auburn

Only Big Ten team to play an SEC team from 2000-2006 and not win at all is OSU with only the one game.

Take home point is that in the games that count (bowls) good Big Ten teams played SEC team a bit better than equal. The Texican is bluffing from a busted flush.
