& noticed that they have received best answer over & over (more then 6-8 times from each person) from mostly the same few ppl .. i have looked and noticed the same person gave them best answer a lot!! makes me wonder is it really them giving it to themselves to earn points .... i found it amusing but silly lol

i wouldn't call anyone a cheater.. but when i checked this one person i noticed all the profiles are very very connected lol .. some even have over 16 best answers from the same 3 ppl and when you check those 3 ppl they have best answers from 3 or more ppl over 15 times too .. that is different then making a connection.. i have made a connection with one person & we do give best answers to each other, but not because we are the same person, but 'cause we r 'net friends' .... & yeah i would love a beer but not until tonight ;-)

yes, I have noticed this, and if you check out the help section, you can see how the people running this site are also aware of it happening, but say they have measures to limit the abuse.
What I find worse are people who give negative votes using a secondary account in order to win 'best answer'. You often see some of the good answers to questions get a thumbs down for no reason at all. sad. *cue negative voting to this response*

A suited Contributor is a member of the solutions community who has shown that they are knowledgeable in a particular class. each solutions person may well be a suited contributor in as much as 3 categories. the suited contributor badge is dynamic ?you earn it or lose it counting on your recent participation in a particular class. The greater actively you're making contributions, the greater probably you will earn a badge. basically like featured customers or class leaders, this is yet in a various thank you to function community individuals who could ideally be missed.

I haven't really noticed.
But I do know that some people on here have favorites and they answer their favorites questions and wind up getting the best answer because their favorites are their contacts, etc.
It's just because they're friends. Don't go reading more into it than it is. But then again. Your suspicions may be correct.

Bah. Whatever. I've noticed that most of the "Top Contributors" here give the most ridiculous answers. If someone asks "Shuld i brake up wit mi b/f", I'm going to give an honest answer *and probably correct their spelling*, but obviously, best answer is going to go to another hopeless person who speaks garbled internet language. I come on here, give my best answer, and whatever happens, happens.
And if people ARE giving themselves best answers, they have way too much time on their hands and we should pity them.

I have a lot of best answers from the same people...that doesn't make me a cheater.....and I gave the same person best answer four times in a row lastnight. They had the best answer so I gave it to them. Top cont. doesn't come from best answer...it's a combo of how much you answer and ask..and if you stop they take it away. My level 5 account got deleted right after I got first badge for that account. I don't think that is enough to call someone a cheater though...but if it went on and on and on then I would get suspicious...Who cares though...we know who the real people and the funny people are....I don't judge on points.

I just find answers amusing and it's good thing to do when you are bored...people that really get into the points thing..well I think that is a little pathetic. I mean if you got real money for it...I would be more abitious about it...but its just points...not dollars so I really don't care.

well you haven't gain popular votes by posting this that's for sure, seen one person in a two day thing get enough points in % to get the orange badge, no one goes and gets that many best answre's, when checked , found like you, the same 3 gave them all those points, just to me its pathic

Poeple have WAY too much time on their hands!
I thought I was bad because I'm level 5. But I have an excuse cause I was pregnant and bored with alot of spare time. Those people need to get lives!

I think so. There are so many people that have multiple log ins for that very reason. I just have no life so all mine came from other people lol. Nice name too I was going to name my first born Neolani.
