Yes. I've never been a big fan of Bush, even though I defend him a lot against all the bogus and false charges the liberals fling at him. He is flawed, but not in the way the deranged Bush-haters see it.
He was still better than the 2 punks the Democrats ran against him, and from what I can tell, the current Democrat frontrunners for 2008 are no better. I don't see Hillary or Edwards being any kind of statesmen, nor do I see Obama being much of anything at all.

OK, what did you expect a DEMOCRATIC PARTY Presidential Candidate to say? Ask Obama what happened to the WMDs that we know Iraq had, because they used them, since we didn't find them, ask him if eleven years of idle threats from the UN Security Council was enough or how long should we have let Saddam go in violation of those resolutions. How long should we have let a man that regularly ordered the execution of mass numbers of his citizens remain in power and threaten the neighboring countries, since he had previously invaded Kuwait, or are we to believe that Desert Storm ended his aspirations of a single Islamic State under his control. Ask him what his response to blowing up over 3,000 Americans would have been. To evaluate fairly, we would have to know what he would have done given the exact same situations and information. Anybody can sit in the cheap seats and criticize, but when you're the one that has to make those tough decisions, things get a little harder.

Did he say what the outcome of a reduction of forces would be? He and all the other arm chair Generals have a lot of criticism but no answers but cut and run and let them come after us again. I prefer to listen to the Generals overseas and the servicemen that are there and know more about what they are talking about. According to my memory Clinton had plenty of warnings from Alqueda but never as much as put any homeland security in. They had 8 years of a do nothing president which give them time to build up, train and produce more radical Islamics. What does he propose to do but leave it up to his grandchildren to take care of? They are not going to disappear and he and others are just encouraging their efforts.

Yes I have to agree with Obama!
After all George is a couple cards short of a full deck and certainly is not playing with all of his marbles - probably as a result of his drug and alcohol abuse in his earlier years!
He should be institutionalized for the safety and betterment of all Americans immediately!
IMPEACH THE BA$TARD!

A good leader is supposed to inspire the world. GWB has not clear picture of the world. He is trying to promote his own closed minded agenda to the rest of the world. So in the best case he is just a US leader.

Unless I am mistaken, Bush isn't able to run for president in 08 so why don't these people tell me what good they can do for American? I already know they hate Bush - it is their campaign slogan.

Has everyone forgot about 9-11 and the pain that caused? If we pull out of Iraq wouldn't we be showing weakness to the same people that injured us? Mr. Obama, get you head out of your butt and look at all the good and love GWB has put into his term.

I believe Bush's geo-political failures over the past few years is evidence enough that he is not taken seriously as a world leader.
I don't believe it was necessary for Senator Obama point out the obvious.
