sounds similar to what i was feeling 5 weeks ago. my baby wasn't due until 4/11. i was having what i thought was braxtin hicks for about 3 days which were not in sequence. they would come and go but were very painful. i had a little bloody show when i went to the restroom and went to the hospital immediately. they told me i was 3 centimeters dilated but my contractions weren't regular so the sent me home. i continued to have them for the next two days until i could not take it anymore. i went back to the hospital to see what was going on. i got there at 10 am 5 cm dilated and at 4pm that evening my baby girl was born. i was only 36 weeks and 5 days and she was 5 lbs 14 oz and went home with me the next day. Maybe you should get checked to see if any dilation has occured because you could be in early labor.

First off, you will have to under no circumstances must consider rushed via an appointment, if you're no longer secure with this general practitioner then for definite discover an additional one. A well general practitioner might have taken the time to give an explanation for to you that Braxton Hicks are truly contractions, they're simply no longer steady (or in an growing sample) adequate to make whatever honestly occur (ie going into exertions). It is not whatever to fear approximately until they do get steady (nearer in combination and steady). If that occurs then name your general practitioner instantly. Best of success to you, I wish you discover a brand new general practitioner that's compassionate and offers you the time and awareness you deserve.

Contractions can be sporadic in early labor. Also, contractions are NOT always rhythmic for a baby to be born. My friend's contractions never established a rhythm, but she felt like pushing. When the nurse checked her, the baby was ready! This is highly unusual, but it happens.

They definitely sound like Braxton Hicks contractions because true labor contractions are not sporadic.. just try to breathe through them and totally concentrate on your breathing! Good Luck!

After 38 weeks (even thought you are not there yet) they are not considered Braxton Hicks
They can be sporadic . What you need to do is contact your doctor just to make sure

No true labor contractions are not sporadic, only braxton hicks are sporadic, true labor contractions are rythmic gradually getting closer and stronger in length and strength
