I have strong evidence that I was a victim of bait and switch. The incident was related to a car dealership claiming a certain price on a van and then claiming that the van had been sold after we got there. I have determined that the van was not sold and is still for sale. If I want to bring a lawsuit over this matter, what steps should I take?

There may have been other factors at play, for example, the van might have been sold, but the potential buyer's financing fell through (happens quite a bit).

Unless you suffered real damages somehow, its not worth the time & money to attempt it. If you feel you have, then contact a laywer

If you sustained damage, then you should talk to an attorney and / or consider filing a small claims court action. If you did not sustain damage, then it may not be practical for you to sue (although you should still talk with an attorney to see if you have a claim). Certainly reporting to the BBB and/or the state's attorney general/consumer advocate would be appropriate.

Good luck.

you have no longer have been given any damages. the guy who held the storage sale would declare you went int o their homestead and bumped off goods with out permission, and then have been given disappointed while they did no longer choose to sell you those issues. you have no longer been harm of broken in any way so which you have no longer have been given any status to sue.

Contact an attorney. Since you suffered no damages, it is unlikely that anything would come of it, but I would still inquire.
