I became suspicious of Bush back in the 2000 primaries when he told some lies. When he became President he almost immediately started breaking his campaign promises. Things have snowballed since then. Honestly, there's nothing Bush says now that I don't think is a lie or an exaggeration.

I've done some reading on the subject of Bush lies. I agree with those that say his lying is a symptom of all those years as an alcoholic and his failure to live up to his father's expectations in his early years. Addictive personalities often have trouble with the truth.

It amazes me that it took Americans 5 years to finally figure out that he's a liar. Most don't trust him now and never will again. Nixon lied to cover up Watergate. Clinton didn't tell the truth abouy Monica. However, they weren't in W's league.

He has never lied, nor has anyone ever proven he has lied.

So why would you not trust him, yet trust somoene like bill clinton?

-----

I am well aware of the war going on. I am also well aware of the reasons for the war. None of them were lies. Nancy pelosi said after 10 years of being on the intelligence committee, she had no doubt about saddam's WMD. Saddam's top nuclear scientist admitted to working on atomic weapons research for years, and saddam's number 2 airforce officer admitted to flying the wmd in question to syria, just before the U.S. attacked.

So i ask you, "WHAT WAS THE LIE, AND WHERE IS THE PROOF IT WAS ONE?"

----

You are making the allegation of someone being a liar. The burden of proof is on you. That is ridiculous to tell someone to prove someone is not a liar. I can prove he is not a liar, by showing you there is no proof he is a liar. If I call you a moron, do you have to prove you are not one?

He's been in office for over 6 years now, and you people still have not proven that he's lied at all. And you want us to believe that he's been dishonest all the time? Sorry, you need to actually prove your claim first.

Until you can show us evidence of a "I did not have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinski" moment, then you have nothing to base your assertion on but your irrational hatred of Bush.

President Bush said that his best moment as president was the time he caught a seven-and-a-half-pound largemouth bass on his lake.

That I can believe, so I can't say that he always lies.

Hearing Bush praise Gonzales when even lots of Republicans are saying he blew it reminds me of Bush's "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job" after Katrina.

Some sample lies can be found at http://www.bushlies.net/; there are many instances where Bush has claimed one thing, then the polar opposite. While Bill Clinton definitely told one lie (... about something personal), Bush's multiple lies concern national policy. While it can be argued that Clinton's one lie addresses character, what about Bush's multitude of lies?

Two things. When he told us he was a war President and when he said he was "the decider". This war President keeps proving no matter what the majority of Americans want and now the majority of congress, he alone will decide what is best for American and war in Iraq is best. As an afterthought to bring you a special smiley face, he also said it will still be ongoing as the next President takes office, cheers.

Yes I can. I am still waiting for the "proof" of his intentional lies.

Edit: Well, If I believe he hasn't lied, then the assumption would be that I believe he always tells the truth. Do you want me to list every single thing he has ever stated? I think not.

You can't name ONE thing our great President lied about.
George W Bush will be remembered as a hero who put us on our way to victory over the Islamofascists despite the efforts to undermine him by radical elements like yourself.President Bush never lied, not once, this question is pure slander.

"Necons name something he hasn't been dishonest about..."

Everything.

The delicious irony of my answer is that it is every bit as generalized, inaccurate and partisan as you and your ilk on the opposite end of the spectrum that say he's lied about "everything".

The president makes decisions based upon what others TELL him. He has not lied to anyone! You need to go and get some medication. I'm sure you would feel better.
